Abigail R. Esman is an award-winning essayist, journalist, columnist and author based in New York and The Netherlands,
with over 25 years experience writing for national and international publications.

Her reporting on post-9/11 politics in Europe
has received world-wide attention, and her articles and essays about art and design have appeared in virtually every major
art magazine, some of them being adapted for classroom use.

The author, most recently, of Rage: Narcissism, Patriarchy and the Culture of Terrorism (Potomac, ), she is also the author of Radical State: How Jihad is Winning Over Democracy in the West (Praeger, ).
