On a rainy day in the year 2004, late sculptor Syed Abdullah Khalid took me to an architectural firm at the Bangla Motor area in the city.
That was the first time I was introduced to preeminent architect and art critic Professor Shamsul Wares. After the introduction, the man seemed to me a cerebrally and logically sound person, truly secular and a profound thinker.
