"So You Think You Can Dance?" stars local talent

The American Idol-style dance show 'So You Think You Can Dance?' continues its search for a champion with twenty dancers left - two of which hail from Orem and another who is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The three dancers made the cut on national television and each has an extensive background in dance.

Allison Holker, an Orem High School graduate, starred in MTV''s 'High School Musical;' Jaymz Tuaileva trains at a studio in Orem; and returned missionary Benji Schwimmer is a nationally-known swing dancer.
'Every form of dance you can think of is in the show,' Tuaileva said.
'They want the most versatile dancer. They want someone who can do everything.'
The show will test competitors'' proficiency in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, Broadway, waltz, ballroom and hip-hop, among other genres.
